You might be hesitant about a photo session in your home. I get that.

Maybe the house is upside down, the living room is a playroom, laundry on the couch needs to be folded, and you're waiting for the cleaning fairy to show up to mop the kitchen.  I'm waiting for that fairy too!! But don't say "NO" yet.....

These photos are about real life.  YOUR real life, in all it's crazy, beautiful, messiness.

Think back to your childhood.  You remember the shag carpet in your room, your pet dog, and riding big wheels in the mud on a rainy day, not if there was dust on the shelves or laundry to be folded.  They feel safe, loved, and comfortable at home.  This is where your family can be themselves, no matter how it looks!

I will document the relationships between your family members, not dishes in the sink (unless your kids are washing them!!).  If you want Pinterest perfect photos, this session is not for you. Your photos are about being together and showing their kids the wonderful memories that made up their childhood.

Think how much your kids have changed even from last year.  Photos from the first day of school to the last, they tug at your heart at how much they have grown.  Don't miss THIS time.

You choose what time to start your session and I'll join you! Do the laundry, have the kids do their chores and your husband mow the yard, let the kids play, do your day with all the mess, and chaos, and it's OK to have a kid in time-out. Do your mom thing like any ordinary day!  You don't have to go anywhere (sometimes getting the kids out of the house is a chore itself), but if errands are on your schedule, I'll go with you.
